Perrier Jouet Blanc De Blanc Twin Flute Gift Set

The story of Perrier-Jouët is rich in heritage, artistry, and devotion to quality. Founded in 1811 by Pierre Nicolas Perrier and his wife, Rose Adélaide Jouët, this esteemed champagne house was born from their shared passion for winemaking and excellence. Adèle was the heart behind the vineyards and winemaking, while Pierre Nicolas drove the brand forward through innovative sales and marketing efforts. By 1815, Perrier-Jouët had begun exporting champagne to Great Britain and, in 1837, to the United States, marking its presence as a global name in fine champagne.

Under the direction of Henri Gallice and his brother Octave, Perrier-Jouët continued to flourish. Octave, an art lover, connected with artist Émile Gallé, who crafted the now-iconic anemone motif in 1902. This Art Nouveau design would become emblematic of Perrier-Jouët's brand identity. Known for its commitment to beauty, innovation, and luxury, Perrier-Jouët was even favored by figures such as British Prime Minister Harold Macmillan.

A true pioneer, Perrier-Jouët released its first brut champagne in 1842, and in 1969, its floral Cuvée Belle Epoque set a new standard in artistic presentation. In recent years, the house has continued to innovate: in 2020, it appointed its first female cellar master, continuing its tradition of breaking boundaries in champagne-making.

With its pristine vineyards—over half of which lie in the Grand Crus of Cramant and Avize—the house produces approximately 3 million bottles annually. Perrier-Jouët remains celebrated for its mastery over Chardonnay, particularly through its Blanc de Blancs, which beautifully reflects the delicate and vibrant nature of this grape. First produced in the 1920s, Perrier-Jouët Blanc de Blancs showcases floral aromas and lively citrus notes, delivering a smooth, elegant experience that honors the house’s historic savoir-faire.

Now part of the Pernod Ricard family, Perrier-Jouët continues its legacy by collaborating with artists, celebrating Art Nouveau, and maintaining a commitment to exceptional craftsmanship. This dedication to quality ensures its position as one of the most respected names in the world of champagne.

The arrival of Perrier-Jouët Blanc de Blancs in 2017 completed the classic collection with a single-grape cuvée destined to become the enduring expression of Maison.

Perrier-Jouët’s savoir-faire in revealing the quintessence of Chardonnay. In fact, it perpetuates a tradition dating back around a hundred years: the House introduced its first all Chardonnay cuvées in the 1920s, long before such champagnes became known as “Blanc de Blancs”.

The Eye : Pale gold with hints of green, delightfully lively, luminous champagne.

The Nose : Aromas of hedgerow flowers – elderberry, acacia and honeysuckle – and tangy citrus.

The Palate : Lingering freshness with a surprisingly smooth, mellow finish.
