The 244th blend is anchored in the remarkable 2019 vintage, a year of record-breaking temperatures and exceptional maturity, producing a dense, fresh, and complex cuvée.
Tasting Notes:
Appearance: A golden yellow hue with a fine, continuous bead.
Aroma: A broad, expressive bouquet of ripe wild peaches, William pears, and citrus fruits (lemons, blood oranges). Notes of smoky minerality, autolysis, and oak aging add depth and aromatic freshness.
Palate: A rich, juicy, and textured Champagne, offering a delicate mousse and chalky minerality. Layers of roasted and saline notes round out the wine, leaving a lingering and balanced finish.
