Tasting Notes

Jacquart is the brand of the Alliance Champagne Group, a cooperative representing one of Champagneâs largest sources of grapes. The group is owned by 1800 growers, holding over 2600 hectares (and counting), spanning more than 60 crus across the CĂŽte des Blancs, VallĂ©e de la Marne and CĂŽte des Bar. Jacquart has grown dramatically since it was founded just over 50 years ago, now vinifying 1200 parcels separately from 350 hectares of its vineyard pool to create 3 million bottles of pleasant chardonnay-led blends of prominent dosage.
"The colour is light-straw and the bouquet is fresh crisp and complex, with some toasty background to the lemon citrus and meringue, nutty, nougat flavours and aromas. The palate is tight and refined, intense and very long. The line of the wine is quite excellent and the overall style and balance are superb. The finish is very dry, assisted by a slight phenolic grip, all in harmony. A superb blanc de blancs.â - 95 points Huon Hooke
