2018: An Exceptional Year
A rainy winter was followed by a dry summer and early flowering. The Maison adapted to the conditions with an early and abundant harvest beginning on 23 August, capturing the full potential of the vintage.
The chalk soils of Bollinger’s Grands and Premiers Crus preserved freshness while allowing the grapes to achieve optimal ripeness.
Pinot Noir from the Montagne de Reims was particularly remarkable, delivering concentrated fruit with exceptional balance and freshness.

Appearance: Yellow gold in colour; reflecting the wines maturity as well as the
vinification process at Champagne Bollinger -
Aroma: The freshness of citrus fruits and Granny Smith apples. Notes of orchard fruits: white peach, apricot, and Mirabelle plum. Time in the glass reveals scents of
fresh almonds, breadcrumbs, and acacia. A touch of white peony. -
Palate: Structured and balanced on the palate. Notes of stewed fruits and quince.
The wine’s texture evolves and gradually melts into creamy effervescence.

- Blend: 66% Pinot Noir, 34% Chardonnay
- Origin: 119 Crus: predominantly Verzenay, Aÿ and Mareuil sur Aÿ for Pinot Noir and Chouilly and Cuis for Chardonnay.
- Fermentation: 100% aged oak barrels
- Maturation: Aged under natural cork for more than twice the required time, ensuring unparalleled depth
- Dosage: 6g/L for a perfectly balanced finish
