Tasting Notes
Palmer Rosé Réserve NV is a blend of the Brut Réserve with 15% red wine that is first vinified in old oak barrels (in the Burgundy tradition) and then put through a solera with the red wines from the previous vintages (about 8 years of solera). Palmer is the only house to do that in Champagne. Thanks to the solera, Palmer Rosé Réserve has a lovely combination of red fruit notes from the younger red wines (wild strawberries, cassis...) with a touch of spice from the older red wines of the solera (cinnamon, vanilla…)
Ranked #26 in Fine Champagne Magazine’s selection of the Top 100 champagnes of 2017.
95 Points with Huon Hooke.
Champagne Palmer & Co Rosé Reserve has been awarded a Gold Medal with 95 points at the prestigious Decanter World Wine Awards 2019.
