Tasting Notes
Henri Giraud Blanc De Craie
Geniuses are born in suffering : clinging to the chalk of the south, in Aÿ, the
Chardonnay has genius! Freed from traditional clichés, chalk as path of humility,
so discreet that it is forgotten, so present that it gives strength and life. Placed on
the front of the mouth it opens a flowery and generous palate.

‘’The Blanc de Craie marries the energy of Chardonnay (100%) with the oak-inflected structure that is such a signature of the house. Lemon confit, dried flowers, ginger, cinnamon, mint, chamomile and spice all grace this layered, mid-weight Champagne from Henri Giraud.’’ VINOUS 92 points - Antonio Galloni
