Jacquart Brut de Nominee NV
*Remaining Stock Strictly Limited,
This is the prestige cuvee from Jacquart. It is a blend of 50% Pinot Noir and 50% Chardonnay. The blend has a high proportion of reserve wines from the 1996 vintage which has given aged complexity, yet the wine remains fresh and vibrant. Showing a perfumed nose of lemon, toast and herbs with nice balance between the richness and freshness. The palate is packed with flavour, showing savoury, toasty evolved characters along with cleansing lemony acidity.
Recently reviewed by Shin (Brand ambassador of Jacquart) as representing great character and showing aged complexity expected of the 1996 vintage release. This Champagne is showing its length and is a true reflection of the great 96 vintage and other blended years in the mix (small amount of 99 and 98 specifically)
Jacquart's flagship is a non-vintage blend with a label that declares nothing of its vintage composition, a shame, as it's older than the current vintage wines of many houses. The wine rejoices in a decade of maturity in its creamy, silky, rounded texture, succulent yellow summer fruits, wild honey and butter on toast. It finishes refreshingly taut and structured, with a grapefruit-pith texture and preserved lemon notes, underlined by Cote des Blancs acidity that proclaims its chardonnay lead. It concludes with impressive persistence, line and definition - 94pts Tyson Stelzer
