J. Lassalle Blanc De Blanc 2007
Producing under 10,000 bottles and defining itself as vineyard and region specific, J. Lassalle champions the Villers-Allerand and its soft clay soil constitution perfectly. Showing balance between citrus tension (lemon, grapefruit and stonefruits) balanced with a rounded complexities of toast, spices and lightly honeyed nougat character. Creaminess and seamless length is derived from quality natural acid balanced by reasonable dosage of 8g/l.
An all round impressive alternative to many Cote des Blanc examples and is an enduring example from the 2007 vintage.
